Learning Outcomes
The Summer clinical training takes place every day from 08.15-15.00 for 4 weeks in July and includes the treatment of first and second-opinion surgical cases presented to the Surgery-Obstetrics unit of the Companion Animal Clinic of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, in the subjects of soft tissue surgery. As part of their clinical practice, postgraduate students undertake 24-hour on-call work on weekdays and holidays, in the infirmary of the Surgery-Obstetrics unit and in the emergency department of the Companion Animal Clinic. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to diagnose and treat clinical cases of soft tissue surgery in companion animals

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of the students is done by each faculty member based on their performance in clinical practice, i.e. based on their diagnostic, operative, and post-operative skills and performance. At the end of the semester, their performance is graded.
