Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on the evolution of narrative genres by examining the notion of narrative as a structural element of the literary genres of the novel, autobiography, story, and introducing the parameter of their evolution on the basis of changes in storytelling. These transformations can concern: the narrative and descriptive representation of the reality, the history in relation to the narrative, the internal focus and the slip in the interiority of the characters, the interior monologue, the distance of a representation " realistic "and the new aesthetic approaches to the fictional world. Extracts from narrative works characteristic of European literary production are studied.

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of the course is done by written productions submitted electronically as well as an oral examination at the end of the semester with a gravity coefficient of two (2). The average of the two marks is the final grade.
