Upon successful completion of the course, the student will: • Analyze and synthesize the pedagogical theories for effective dance teaching in education. • Critically reflect child-centered teaching methods. • Create dance lesson plans in relation to aims of physical education. • Analyze and apply the theories of classroom management and teaching. • Create and analyze assessment tools for student learning and teacher evaluation. • Be able to formulate and explore research questions in relation to pedagogical approaches of dance in education.
