Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course students: -have been familiarized with English for Specific Purposes in Agriculture as well as with Academic English (features & use). -know basic terms of soil structure and plant morphology, physiology, sexula and asexual plant reproduction, elements of crop production (legumes, root crops, cereals) as well as plant pathology -have been familiarized with authentic texts of their discipline -have practiced listening comprehension through authentic videos tackling the areas and concepts earlier mentioned,i.e soil structure and plant morphology, physiology, sexula and asexual plant reproduction, elements of crop production (legumes, root crops, cereals) as well as plant pathology -have been taught basic concepts of scientific thought

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course familiarizes students with ESP, namely with the English terms and bibliography of Agriculture. It aims to gradually develop the four skills while emphasis is given on reading and listening through authentic texts on soil science and plant morphology. The instruction is interactive and complemented by videos.
