Course Content (Syllabus)
Thermo-hygrometric parameters. Thermodynamical characteristics and equation of state for dry and moist air. Laws of thermodynamics for atmospheric air, entropy. Adiabatic and non-adiabatic changes in the atmosphere. Dynamical temperature, upward and downward motions of moist air. Thermodynamic equation of heat conservation. Thermodynamic diagrams, tephigrams. Static stability and instability. Indices of instability. Energy transformations in the atmosphere.
