Learning Outcomes
Last-year students in Civ Eng have the chance to familiarise themselves with the modern methods for analysis of reinforced concrete (R/C) structures using the nonlinear analysis method for line element structures (frames).
Analysis methods recommended by the contemporary design codes for reinforced concrete structures.
In-depth knowledge of the behaviour of R/C members under different stress states and description of behaviour models for structural elements under monotonic and cyclic loading.
Familiarisation with the application of inelastic analysis for the study of the seismic behavior of multistory reinforced concrete structures with and without infils. Study of pilotis buildings.
