Course Content (Syllabus)
Single phase AC circuits: definitions, circuits, Ohm and Kirchhoff laws, circuits with resistances, inductances and capacitances, power and power factor, methodologies and computations for electrical circuits, circuits with reciprocal impedances, elements of the electromagnetic field theory. Three phase AC circuits: three phase circuits and networks. Electrical installations: components, regulations, types and classes, calculations, applications, elements of illumination theory. Trans-formers: equivalent circuit, types, calculations, applications. DC motors: equivalent circuit, applications, calculations. AC induction motors: single and three-phase induction motors. AC synchronous motors: equivalent circuit, applications.
