Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is the implementation of a teaching model and approach within the framework of the Erasmus+ European programme, aiming at encouraging encounters with respect for different religious, secular, collective or individual worldviews for a peaceful coexistence. The concept of learning through encounters is based on the following four phases:
1.Preparation on a common topic chosen by the participants.
2.Participation for a online Encounter Day via videoconferencing where small, mixed groups take turns to present a common topic from their own perspective.
3.Discussion on the different perspectives and opinions.
4.Reflection on their experience during the Encounter Day.
As part of the course, students will also learn how to organize, and, finally, participate in a Encounter Day themselves.
