After completing the course students are expected to

• know the historical and social context in which the critical paradigms emerged
• know the methods and epistemological paradigms through which the main sociopsychological phenomena are approached

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course presents critical sociopsychological approaches to the study of social phenomena such as the theoretical and epistemological paradigms of social representations and of the approaches that follow the "turn to discourse". Specifically critical research and community interventions are presented that through alternative perspectives study or use classic sociopsychological concepts such as attitudes, social cognition, socil influence, aggressivenes, collective actions, prosocial behavior etc.
