Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on social-psychological phenomena, mechanisms and processes that are related to the minoritization of social groups, on the one hand, and to their mobilization and collective action, on the other. The students attend courses on intergroup theory in social psychology related to these issues. Furthermore, current research and community interventions (related to health, education, social justice and social policy) aiming at empowering socially vulnerable groups are presented and critically discussed and evaluated.
