Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to distinguish the stages of primate evolution, identify key anatomical features and changes in their evolution, and test paleontological data with biogeographic and ecological hypotheses.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Origin and phylogeny of primates. Fossil Primate Archive. Comparative skeletal anatomy of Hominidae. Greek Primate Archive. The origin of Homo- biogeographical and ecological hypotheses. Paleontology and archaeology: from the animal to cultural being. Invited seminar lectures.
