Learning Outcomes
- Know the types of anesthesia for surgical treatment of tumors
- Manage pain, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively
- Approach skin cancer patients psychologically and deal with pain, disfigurement and disability
- Evaluate type of anesthesia indicated according to anatomical location and extent of the neoplasm
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course includes the subsections: Types of anesthesia, nerve blocks. Handling of preoperative – postoperative pain. Psychological support of patients with skin cancer.
