Knowledge of CAD software
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to handle special equipment (terrestrial laser scanner and SLAM) for the 3D recording of monuments and sites and all kinds of construction and the natural environment. A demonstration of the software to process large amounts of data acquired from a laser scanning system is provided during the course and the final product is derived from the digitization of all the details (mostly of architectural nature) of a building or a structure in the environment of CAD software.
General Competences
  • Apply knowledge in practice
  • Retrieve, analyse and synthesise data and information, with the use of necessary technologies
  • Adapt to new situations
  • Make decisions
  • Work autonomously
  • Work in teams
  • Work in an international context
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Generate new research ideas
  • Design and manage projects
  • Appreciate diversity and multiculturality
  • Respect natural environment
  • Demonstrate social, professional and ethical commitment and sensitivity to gender issues
  • Be critical and self-critical
  • Advance free, creative and causative thinking
