Learning Outcomes
Until the completion of their Diploma Thesis, students will be fully specialized in "Artistic Actions and Practices", enabling them to function as artists with specialized knowledge in the functioning of the public sphere or pursue professional careers in the cultural sector. They will also be able to teach Art at different levels of education or be capable of employment in the creative and cultural industries.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The preparation of the Postgraduate Thesis for the specialization "Artistic Actions and Practices", which lasts for at least one semester, represents the culmination of all the laboratory and theoretical knowledge acquired during the two-year Interdepartmental Programme of Postgraduate Studies "Art and the Public Sphere". It constitutes an original research proposal that combines artistic and theoretical approaches.
The students are required to support their artistic work theoretically with a 10,000-word paper. Moreover, their artistic work should have the scope of a personal exhibition and should be presented practically and theoretically in the Public Sphere, in front of the three-member Jury.
