Learning Outcomes
Until the completion of their Diploma Thesis, students will be fully specialized in "Historical, Political and Hermeneutical Investigations of Art", allowing them to operate as theoreticians with specialized knowledge in the functioning of the public sphere or pursue professional careers in the cultural sector. They will also be able to teach theory in relevant fields of Art at different levels of education or be capable of employment in the creative and cultural industries.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The preparation of the Postgraduate Thesis in the specialization "Historical, Political and Hermeneutical Investigations of Art", which lasts for at least one semester, represents the culmination of all the theoretical knowledge acquired during the two-year Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies "Art and the Public Sphere". It constitutes an original research proposal that combines a theoretical approach to Art and Politics in the Public Sphere.
Students are required to support their theoretical work, which should have a length of 15,000 to 20,000 words, and present it publicly before the three-member Jury.
