Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to know the cultural, historical and religious background of the New Testament era, in as much as both Judaism (Palestinian and that of Diaspora) and the greek-roman world of the 1st century AD are concerned.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course provides all the necessary information and general knowledge about Judaism and the greek-roman world of the first century AD, which is the years when Jesus Christ lived and preached in Palestine and the period when the books of New Testament were written and the Church was born.
