a good knowledge of the Psaltic musical notation.
Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of the course, students will be able to chant syllabic and a few semi-slow melodies of the Hirmologion. They will know the history and development of this music collection, its composers, the hymnographical-poetical texts on which it is based. They will also know some information about the Kalophonic Hirmologion.
