Course Content (Syllabus)
This module is based on ensemble performance practice. It aims to familiarize students with the processes of preparation of a collective interartistic event, which will be presented in the spring semester. Experimentation, on both individual and group level, will be based on (a) theme(s) and repertoires of vocal music (oral and/or written, existing and/or original), as well as texts (existing and/or original) selected by ensemble participants. In this context of experimentation the ensemble will make use of different tools, such as vocal improvisation, physical theatre, free creative writing, body percussion, among others. The module allows for a maximum of 30 students, as long as these are available and committed to attend both semesters of the academic year, since the final collective interartistic event will be realized in the spring semester (for further important obligations, please read the 'Assessment' section).
