Learning Outcomes
Students were taught the basics of immunology, immune regulation, stem cell immunology and immune regulation, and transplantation immunology. They were also introduced to the therapeutic applications of stromal mesenchymal cells in immunoregulation and graft quality improvement. Emphasis was placed on the therapeutic approach with stromal mesenchymal cells in renal diseases with transplantation as the treatment of choice and the promotion of immune tolerance with stem cells. Students were introduced to liver organoids and their future application in transplantation.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Basics of immunology, stem cell immunology and immunoregulation, immunoregulation using mesenchymal stromal cells. Therapeutic approaches to kidney diseases with mesenchymal stromal cells, immunology of transplantation, immunoτολερανψε with mesenchymal stromal cells, results of clinical trials. Improvement of graft quality with stromal mesenchymal cells (machine perfusion).Basics of Liver transplantation and pancreas transplantation. Regenerative hepatology: organoids, their use in liver transplantation.
