Learning Outcomes
With the successful completion of the program, students will acquire additional knowledge regarding the physiology of salivary glands, saliva production, the intraductal pressure system of the parotid, and submandibular glands as an introduction to disorders of saliva production. They will have an understanding of obstructive pathologies of the salivary glands. They will be familiar with the surgical anatomy of the major salivary glands. They will be knowledgeable about the surgical anatomy of the parotid, submandibular gland, and sublingual gland.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The purpose of the course is to provide a detailed presentation of the surgical anatomy of the major salivary glands, specifically focusing on the surgical anatomy of the parotid, submandibular gland, and sublingual gland. Additionally, the surgical anatomy of the oropharyngeal region will be presented, where tumors can primarily develop from the minor salivary glands. Postgraduate students will also become familiar with the physiology of salivary glands, saliva production, the intraductal pressure system of the parotid, and submandibular glands. This serves as an introduction to disorders of saliva production, aiming to enhance their understanding of obstructive pathologieς
