Learning Outcomes
To learn about the structure and the function of the organs, according to the system. Αfter completing the courses, students will be able to know and microscopically recognize the different types of tissues and cells that constitute each organ of the body.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Lectures: structure in correlation with the function of organs of the digestive, respiratory, urinary, reproductive (female and male), and nervous systems, endocrine glands and sensory organs. Laboratory classes: Digestive system (3 classes), respiratory system, urinary system, male reproductive system, female reproductive system, nervous system, endocrine glands, sensory organs.

Description
Examination grade markings are the sum of multiple-choice questions (quiz through e-learning platform) commonly assessed at 80% of the total grade ranking, whereas examination on light microscopy of histological sections from organ specimens and recognition of electron microscopy microphotographs in a lab-based setting will account for the rest 20%.
