Learning Outcomes
The students of the program are taught the basic principles of statistical analysis of the biological sciences and in particular: the design of the research protocol, the definition of the research objectives and the choice of the appropriate statistical methods for the analysis of medical data. They are also taught the process of writing a scientific article, how to choose the right journal for publication, and the process of responding to reviewers' comments. The aim of the course is to guide the postgraduate students in the most competent way for the writing of their postgraduate diploma thesis and eventually, at a later time, of their doctoral thesis.
