Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
Good understanding of the operation of the basic types of electronic circuits with: 1)diodes, 2)BJTs, 3)FETs (JFETs, MOSFETs, CMOS). Electronic circuits of voltage amplifiers and voltage followers. Circuits with Operational Amplifiers. Differential Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers (push-pull), Current Mirrors, Voltage References, Basic structure of an operational amplifier.
Learning Outcomes
The students will get good knowledge of design, analysis and calculations of all basic categories of analog electronic circuits. The following categories of circuit are included: internal structure of an operational amplifier, circuits with Op-Amps, Oscillators, Active Filters, Phase Locked Loop Circuits (PLL), basic Delta Modulation, A/D & D/A converters, RF receiver (Low Noise Amplifier, Voltage controlled oscillator, Mixer - Multiplier)

Course Content (Syllabus)
Αnalysis, design and calculations of all basic categories of analog electronic circuits. The following categories of circuit are included: internal structure of an operational amplifier, circuits with Op-Amps, Oscillators, Active Filters, Phase Locked Loop Circuits (PLL), basic Delta Modulation, A/D & D/A converters, RF receiver (Low Noise Amplifier, Voltage controlled oscillator, Mixer - Multiplier)
