Learning Outcomes
With the successful completion of the course the graduate student
1) Know the basic structure of the solar system and basic information about the planets and their satellites in relation to the Earth.
2) Know the radiochronology methods and the laws of them in relation to the demands of Geology.
3) Know the basic laws of gravity field and rotation of the Earth and the importance of them in the movements of the earth.
4) Know the effects of the production of the internal heat in the Earth and its effect on Earth's Tectonic Engine - Geodynamics.
5) Know basic laws concerning the magnetic field of the Earth and their usefulness in implementing Paleomagnetism in relation to the operation on Earth's Tectonic Engine - Geodynamics.
