Learning Outcomes
After the successful consumation of the lectures, the students: 1. will know the mondern technique of the structural analysis, so that they to be able for the elaboration of a high quality scientific study but also applied study on the topic of the applied geology. 2. will be able to apply the methodology of the quantitave analysis, based on mathematic approaches of the rock deformation (e.g. intensity of deformation, type or creation mechanism of deformation....)

Course Content (Syllabus)
Cinematic anlysis of brrittle and ductile tectonic structures, shear zones, mylonites, strain and stress analysis, types and mechanismes of deformation, stres and strain ellipsoids, quantitative structural analysis.
