Learning Outcomes
Intended learning outcomes: During the construction and placement of prosthetic restorations in daily clinical practice, basic requirements should be met such as improving the function of the stomatignathic system and the esthetics of the teeth and face.
Upon successful completion of the course students should know:(1) Diagnosis and treatment planning of esthetic problems of teeth and smile (2) basic principles of esthetics in prosthetic restorations

Syllabus:
1. Rehabilitation of function and esthetics in Prosthodontics
2. Esthetic appearance of the face: a.extraoral, b. intraoral clinical examination
3. Diagnosis and treatment planning of esthetic teeth problems
4. Choice of ceramic materials:Metal-ceramic VS all-ceramic VS zirconia prosthetic restorations
5. Esthetic restorations of anterior endodontically treated teeth: metal VS non-metallic post and
core restorations
6. Etched-metal resin-bonded prosthesis (Maryland bridge)
7. Esthetics of complete dentures
8. Tooth wear: functional and esthetic restoration
9. Porcelain VS composite resin laminate veneers
10.Conventional VS implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation in the area of anterior missing
teeth
