Course Content (Syllabus)
Week 1 : Introduction to Project Management, Definition of a Project, description of activities, Week 2: Creation of a PERT network for a Project Week 3: PERT/CPM technique for projects with deterministic and uncertain activity times. Critical activities, Slack activity time Week4 : PERT/COST analysis, Project budgeting control Week 5: Formulation of a project using Linear Programming and sensitivity analysis Weeks 6-7: Project Crashing using Linear Programming and sensitivity analysis Week 8 Characteristics and types of projects Project management, project management goals, critical success factors Role, characteristics and skills of the project manager Week 9 Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Project Management Logistics Project Management Challenges that affect Logistics Project Management, global megatrends Week 10 Disruptive technologies in Logistics Project Management (Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, Blockchain etc.) Case studies and best practices in Logistics Project Management Week 11 Project phases, project phase models Week 12 Logistics project phases Week 13 Planning, implementation and management of logistics projects
