Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will
• be acquainted with selected topics in clinical psychology
• have deepened and broadened their clinical theoretical knowledge in selected fields of clinical application
• have understood selected issues regarding evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment of specific psychological difficulties
• have understood selected issues related to clinical work with persons, teams and families in different phases of the life-cycle
• become familiar with issues regarding research in clinical psychology and psychotherapy
Course Content (Syllabus)
This is a seminar-based course, that focuses on specialized topics in clinical psychology, aiming to further deepen and broaden the postgraduate students’ clinical theoretical knowledge. It includes presentation and discussion of specialized topics in clinical theory and technique, issues regarding evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment of specific psychological difficulties (such as psychotic experiences, personality disorders, addictions etc.), issues related to clinical work with persons, teams and families in different phases of the life-cycle, as well as issues regarding research in clinical psychology and psychotherapy.
