General Prerequisites
The course is aimed at providing students the opportunity to interact one-on-one with faculty mentors and gain a more in-depth understanding of literature reviews, experimental design, implementation, and interpretation of research in the genetic material of fruit trees. Students are required to write a paper dealing with this subject.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The cultivation of fruit trees requires both specialization in basic knowledge and the application of modern precision cultivation techniques, including fertilization and irrigation as well as the sustainable management of the agro-ecosystems of fruit tree crops. This course incorporates lecture and lab exercises to provide information on major aspects of basic fruit cultivation practices and the relationship between fruit tree physiology and knowledge-driven fruit management.
