Learning Outcomes
Students will familiarize themselves with the types of foreign bodies implanted in the human body (meshes, orthopedic implants, endovascular catheters, endoprostheses/stents), with the epidemiological data of foreign body infection, with the morbidity/mortality of these infections and the predisposing factors will be analyzed . Students will be able to recognize the clinical picture and apply the correct diagnosis (laboratory/imaging test, microbiological tests) and clinical evaluation. They will familiarize themselves with the types of treatment, recovery methods and prevention methods will be analyzed
