Students will be able to design geological and technical geological sections, process data in geotechnical software, take measurements with a geological compass and produce tectonic solid diagrams.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Overview of the basic elements of geological maps – principles and techniques for the construction of morphological and geological cross-sections at the scale of the construction work. Data of orientation and characteristics of tectonic discontinuities. Acquisition - processing - evaluation of tectonic discontinuity measurements. Usage of stereographic projection for linear and surface elements. Overview of basic software with applications in the analysis of tectonic data
