Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have acquired the following knowledge: - Principles of woodworking (cutting types and directions, cutting angles, cutting conditions and forces, interaction of wood and machining tools) - Wood engineering technologies and products (sawing, sanding, chipping, pulping, yield) improvement treatments, properties and uses of woodworking products. - Effects on humans from the mechanical processing of wood.
