Principles of woodworking (cutting types and directions, cutting angles, cutting conditions and forces, interaction of wood and machining tools), Wood engineering technologies and products (sawing, sanding, chipping, pulping, yield), improvement treatments, properties and uses of woodworking products, Effects on humans from the mechanical processing of wood.
