Learning Outcomes
After the succesful completion of the course, the students are expected to:
• understand the basic principles of engineering in the problems of underground excavations
• know the main failure criteria
• understand the use of numerical methods for the analysis of continuous and discontinuous media
• know techniques for improving the mechanical properties of agricultural materials
• can select and dimension the operations.
