Learning Outcomes – Course: Training Science of Physical Condition
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
Define the fundamental concepts of conditioning coaching and distinguish the primary physical abilities it encompasses.
Assess the physical condition of athletes/trainees through appropriate field and laboratory-based testing procedures.
Apply warm-up, flexibility, mobility, and stabilization techniques across various population profiles and contexts.
Explain the methodology and neuromuscular mechanisms associated with strength, speed, and endurance training.
Utilize the principles of periodization to design microcycles, considering training load, recovery, and progression.
Integrate practical experience and feedback to develop their professional identity and competence as conditioning coaches.

Description
The teaching process is supported through the use of PowerPoint presentations incorporating selected videos from YouTube and LinkedIn Learning, in order to enhance understanding and connect theory with practice. Communication with students is facilitated via the official university platform (Moodle – eLearning), where educational material, announcements, and exercises are posted regularly.
The practical component of the course takes place in laboratory and field settings, using state-of-the-art performance and fitness assessment tools (e.g., power sensors, speed gates, GPS systems, mobile applications). Student evaluation is also conducted through multiple-choice online questionnaires administered via the University’s eLearning platform.
Description
Student evaluation will be carried out using the following methods, and the final grade will be calculated based on the weighting of each assessment component. The grading criteria are listed at the end of the detailed syllabus.

Compliance with Instructions and Safety Rules Full adherence to exercise guidelines and safety protocols. General compliance with occasional oversights or corrected errors. Occasional disregard for instructions or careless behavior. Systematic disregard for instructions and safety concerns.
Execution of Technical Elements Very good technique and adaptability to different training stimuli. Consistent technique with minor weaknesses or uncertainty in new exercises. Partial understanding or difficulty in executing techniques. Major weaknesses or inability to apply technical elements.
