the student should have been taught the basic principles of the hydrological arrangement of torrents currents.
Learning Outcomes
the student will be able to prioritize the dam-project selection conditions. the student will be able to choose the dominant type of dam - project. the student will be able to dimension and design dams using a computer. the student will be able to determine the water balance of a watershed and choose the desired type of water saving project.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Forces, loading and stability of dam construction, heavy weight constructions, construction beams, mixed weight constructions, beams, curves and soil constructions, protection works of dam constructions). Pc design of a check dam. Hydrometry, water supplies, sewage and sewage treatment, depositories, hydraulc machiner-pumps, land reclamation, flood prevention works, protection works of nature and environment.
