Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is organized into thematic units that focus on the fundamental aspects of children's psycho-emotional and social development, from conception to early childhood. Initially, different theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of child and adolescent psychosocial development are presented, and their perspectives are compared in relation to key questions, such as continuous/phased development and the contribution of various factors in the formation of individual characteristics. Then, the developmental course of the individual in shaping key dimensions of personal and social development, such as the emergence of the self, self-regulation, aggression, gender identity, and social interactions are analyzed the same time, and the contribution of the different systems in which the child grows up is highlighted
