Learning Outcomes
Having completed the two semesters of his studies and now having knowledge of the scientific field, the student will be able to master the ability of scientific research and writing. In particular:
a) Ηe will look for the basic and special bibliography on the subject of his thesis, he will study it and obtain the material he needs.
b) He will determine the sources he needs, he will look for them, study and analyse them.
c) He will organize his material by applying in practice, and on a larger scale than before, what he has been taught about the principles and methods of scientific work.
c) He will write a scientific book, according to what he has been taught, presenting his arguments and conclusions to the scientific and the wider public.
d) He will familiarize himself with the concept of plagiarism and its avoidance when quoting bibliographic data
Course Content (Syllabus)
The Graduate Thesis I aims for the student to apply in practice what he has been taught regarding the conduct of scientific research, having chosen, in collaboration with the professor advisor, a specific topic as his subject. He will use the sources and the bibliography, writing, according to the applicable principles and methods, a scientific paper, with which he will communicate the results of his research to the scientific community, according to the applicable international standards.
