Το attend the course, students must successfully complete the courses «Vocal and aural skills training Ι-ΙΙ-ΙΙΙ-IV» and their grades should not be less than 7.5.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. improve their aural and singing ability; 2. sharpen their rhythmic and tonal precision during interpretation; 3. sharpen their analytical targeted listening; 4. organize combined reading and vocal performance activities; 5. improve their multidimensional reading/understanding of music scores; 6. acquire training as conductors of vocal and small instrumental ensembles.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is a continuation of the courses «Vocal and aural skills training Ι-ΙΙ-ΙΙΙ-IV» and is addressed to students interested in developing their multidimensional music reading, analytical targeted listening and writing skills. It is also addressed to students aspiring a conducting career and that of composer. The teaching material consists of musical pieces covering a wide range of eras, tendencies and genres. Based on the teaching material, the students will exercise their reading and auditory processing of polyphonic music, music written in different keys, tonal and atonal music, the aim being to enhance their orchestral score reading abilities.
