Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course and successful completion of the examination, students will be able to understand the basic concepts of cost and value of a project and how they are interrelated. Students will be able to assess the value of a project and determine the needs of a project in relation to its planning and cost management. They will be able to understand the sources of costs and, through the use of mathematical models, to utilize cost data and analyses for future cost estimates. Students will be able to understand and formulate the budget and monitor its progress during construction. They will also be able to prepare a project offer and monitor all stages until its acceptance.
