After completing the course, students will have acquired knowledge of the relevant new technologies with respect to instruments, methods and technological developments in the field of geodetic monitoring applications, 3D mapping and high precision spatial analysis methods.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Geodetic networks. Geodetic deformations monitoring in construction projects. Instruments and methods used in constructions. Horizontal and levelling networks for monitoring structures deformations. Basic theory for processing measurements. Analysis and interpretation of geodetic data for detecting deformations. Laser scanners technology. Cases of deformations and displacements monitoring in constructions (dams, special buildings, chimneys, bridges, tunnels, etc.) and landslides. Measurements methods for applications in industrial facilities.
