Course Content (Syllabus)
The course presents the history and nature of the Church's Dogmatic Teaching and Spirituality in the Orthodox Tradition, examining the historical condition of the doctrines from the sources of the Church's symbolic and dogmatic texts and more generally from the authors who contributed to its formulation. Therefore, the broader context of the development of Christian doctrine is researched in dialogue with the sources of Christian traditions in general and the literature associated with them. Therefore, this course deals with both the history of the morphological development of Orthodox doctrines from their biblical formulation to their most developed ecclesiastical form and the historical context in which the doctrinal formulation is expressed and selected.
