Course Content (Syllabus)
The purpose of deepening the dogmatic science of knowledge of Orthodox Theology is the systematic examination of the theological ecclesiastical monuments that capture the dogmatic expression of the Orthodox Church. The examination of issues of Orthodox theology and spirituality is done comparatively in the context where the historical factor is seen, with a perspective of the systematic exposition of the major chapters of the Orthodox doctrinal teaching. The course moves in the context of the systematic interconnection of theological issues based on the morphological development of the doctrines. It extends to the comparative consideration of doctrinal issues in history and the present in order to discuss on a comparative level similarities or differences with other Christian doctrines. In this case, the course of orthodox theology is finally developed in the context of symbolic theology. That is, the relationship of Orthodox theology is exposed within the comparative framework that concerns the subject of the dialogue with the other doctrines.
