Course Content (Syllabus)
Terminology. Classification of industrial minerals and rocks. Origin of industrial minerals and rocks. Deposits of industrial minerals (asbestos, quartz crystals and quartz raw materials, feldspars, magnesite, talc). Deposits of industrial rocks (perlite, clays and clay minerals, bentonite, kaolin, phosphates). Production and uses of industrial minerals and rocks.
