Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1. Familiarize themselves with systematic scientific methodology,
2. Initiate themselves into research in the field of the history of monasticism,
3. Engage with significant stavropegial monasteries of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,
4. Investigate, through unpublished sources, the conditions, purposes, and outcomes of the actions of the Great Church of Christ for the orderly administration and operation of the stavropegial monasteries in its provinces,
5. Understand this unique monastic institution.
Course Content (Syllabus)
