Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to
1. Gain a deeper understanding of texts from the field of the Theological Science (Islam) by scanning and skimming
2. Understand the organization of texts by identifying the features of coherence and cohesion
3. Fill in gapped summaries
4. Provide synonyms, antonyms and derivatives of words that appear frequently in academic texts.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Authentic texts from the different expressions of Islam, such as The Five Pillars of Islam,Calligraphy in Islamic Art
The Mosque, Abraham, The Rightly Guided Caliphs.
The understanding of these texts is consolidated by the exploration of various in-class tasks.
The teaching material is uploaded onto the e-learning platform.
