Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be knowledgable about: 1 – The morphologic changes (gross and microscopic) that take place in tissues and organs in human diseases, by system. 2 – The correlation of morphologic changes with etiopathogenetic mechanisms, as well as epidemiologic and genetic data. 3 – The correlation of morphologic changes with the clinical features of diseases. 4 – The correlation of morphologic changes with laboratory and imaging findings of the patients. 5 – Diagnostic, prognostic and predictive markers in diseases. 6 – The value and practical usefulness of histopathologic examination.
