They will comprehend the underlying mechanisms that cause dyslipidemia, such as genetic factors, diet, and other associated elements.

They will be able to apply evidence-based management strategies, incorporating specific treatment recommendations and preventive measures derived from current scientific research.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course will extensively cover the epidemiology and prevalence of dyslipidemia, both in Greece and globally. It will provide insights into the types of dyslipidemia, their pathophysiology, laboratory assessment, and clinical significance. Participants will be instructed on current guidelines and strategies for appropriate treatment. Additionally, the course will involve in-depth discussions and presentations of clinical scenarios to enhance practical understanding and application of the learned concepts. Overall, the goal is to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills related to dyslipidemia, considering its prevalence, underlying mechanisms, diagnostic approaches, and evidence-based treatment strategies.
