Course Content (Syllabus)
This course will delve into the epidemiology and prevalence of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Additionally, it will analyze the pathophysiology of various diabetes types and explore how other cardiovascular risk factors can contribute to an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The goals of therapy for diabetes, along with various treatment options including oral and injectable medications, will be presented.
