Students should have attended the mandatory audio courses of the Film Department's Curriculum that relate to film sound: 2HM1, 3HM1
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: 1. be able to perform foley sound effects processing for audiovisual productions 2. be able to perform studio recordings 3. be able to process audio recordings with industry standard DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) 4. have acquired a significant background of applied sound 5. have acquired deep knowledge in the physics of sound 6. have learned and cultivated their aesthetics for sound and its uses in audiovisual productions
